Strategic positioning is a buzz word in the corporate community today, and as most corporate buzz words, it has found its way into the church and ministry. The meaning of this phrase is as vague and varied as many of the other words we have borrowed from the corporate world. We tend to define it as we please, applying it where we feel it is appropriate. As I see it, it simply conveys the thought of being in the best position to succeed in accomplishing our mission.
