Destiny Ministries is a para-church organization dedicated to establishing and expanding the Kingdom of God on the earth. It began as the dream of Dr. Phillip Brassfield while serving as President of Carolina Christian College and Seminary in North Augusta South Carolina. Phil has felt a strong, life-long call to develop leaders, plant churches, and bring life and effectiveness to existing churches and ministries.

Even as a child the prophetic word came through noted Prophet Bill Hammon that God had given Phil an Apostolic Anointing. While academics were not a passion for Dr. Brassfield, Christian education became a (15 year) vehicle to accomplish that calling; to work with leaders and develop ministries. While serving in Education Phil continued to maintain over 30 speaking dates each year, simply to stay connected to the field ministry and ministers he loved so much. Finally in 1999 Dr. Brassfield and his wife Cathy left the college and determined to pursue Destiny Ministries full-time. Over the last 8 years destiny has emerged as a leader in Christian Leadership and organizational development. The Organization now includes a Church and Minister’s Network called Destiny’s Covenant Family of Friends, a Leadership Institute, A successful Professional Coaching division called Nautica, an effective youth ministry called Maximum Velocity, and a ministry consulting group called Destiny Consultants.

This year Destiny hosts six national events including: a Spring and Fall “Ministry Advance”, a young leaders conference, a summer national conference for CFF, regional summer youth camps and a winter convention for young people.

Dr. Brassfield speaks at over 30 Leadership Events annually as well as traveling over 40 weekends to be in local churches. This year Destiny is reaching abroad to countries such as Spain, Canada, China and Various countries in Africa.
