“That . . . He might show the exceeding riches of His grace . . .” Ephesians 2:7
The story is told of a poor woman who stood by the vast ocean weeping. When questioned as to the reason for her tears, she responded, “This is the first thing I’ve ever seen enough of!”

Dr. Phillip Brassfield Director, Destiny Ministries As we traveled up to Jerusalem from Jericho, a trip made by countless millions through history, we no doubt felt the same excitement that they had experienced before us. We had started our pilgrimage at Tiberias, a city along the shores of the Sea of Galilee. The Sea of Galilee is a beautiful lake surrounded by lush valleys and hillside slopes surrounded by rugged mountains. We had visited cities like Chorazin and Capernaum, walking streets Jesus walked, visiting synagogues where He taught and performed miracles. Amazing stuff!

Personal Development
By Cassandra StaffordIt's 5:45pm. You just got off work and are sitting in the drive thru lane talking into a box that has about as much patience at this point as you do. The kids are fussing and whining in the back seat. The baby is crying. Your cell phone is ringing nonstop and you keep pushing “ignore” because you can't possibly talk to anyone right now. Your husband sends you a text and tells you he will be late tonight because an “emergency” has come up. Another night, another game dad has missed. You sigh and try to hide your feelings but the truth is you are lonely, frustrated and hopeless... and you are the pastor's wife.

Anger is only as mad as we make it. It’s like smoke in your chimney - no one knows it even exists until something stops up the stack and then it contaminates the entire house. “Be angry and don’t sin”, Jesus said.

Leadership
By Dr. Phillip Brassfield
Effective Leaders know that they can’t accomplish much all by themselves. They need the help of others. They need people, however, not just any people. They need the right people. The wrong people can be as destructive as the right people can be productive.

Professional Coaching
By Dr. Phillip Brassfield
Strategic positioning is a buzz word in the corporate community today, and as most corporate buzz words, it has found its way into the church and ministry. The meaning of this phrase is as vague and varied as many of the other words we have borrowed from the corporate world. We tend to define it as we please, applying it where we feel it is appropriate. As I see it, it simply conveys the thought of being in the best position to succeed in accomplishing our mission.
